Linchpin Engineering staff will be on the Carnelian Woods property beginning this Thursday, May 2, at 9 AM, to conduct inspections of the balconies as required by California Civil Code 5551. There will likely be one or more additional days scheduled in the future to complete the project. The first inspections are required before January 1, 2025 and are required to be performed every nine years.
These inspections will require Linchpin staff to utilize ladders and/or scaffolding to inspect the balconies of most, if not all, units.
In the event that Linchpin requires interior access to any unit, the Carnelian Woods office will contact homeowners individually to coordinate access.
