Ignitions did not go as planned today due to travel delays and other factors. We are still looking at basically 10 acres of piles remaining on the Carnelian Woods property. With the snow already on the ground and the current and predicted storm systems, it is unlikely that we’ll burn these last 10 acres this season. We will assess the situation and burn if possible, but this will likely happen next fall.
We had a lot of successes with this project, and I appreciate all the work that went into the 66.7 acres that was completed this season.
