We held the annual rake-off on June 30th. We had eight homeowners plus Don and we raked the unit 120–135 buildings plus a large portion of unit 136–142. We had lunch on the deck with the Agate Bay Firewise group and talked about issues of interest to both groups.

Following the rake-off, other homeowners were encouraged to continue the raking effort to help the association save funds. Judy Kemeny and Albert raked around unit 65. The Perroud/Podesta family raked around units 1–6, I raked behind units 11–20, and Rich and I hacked a lot of vegetation from the units 1–20 parking lot and in back of units 7–8. Sue Johnson also raked around unit 42. I am continuing to track our hours as part of our Firewise annual renewal. I’ve also updated the map of our property for the Placer County Fire Ready project.

Our Forester will be walking the property in early August and will provide us with the CC&Rs’ required three-year report on forestry and wildfire mitigation.
